Do you mind letting us know where it came from?
Sorry, I don’t know where it was originally from, I bought it used off the other forum

Nemisis used to stock them along with the coolant tank cover, I’ve been waiting for months for them to be back in stock then this one popped up :)

Nemesis did sell them (I asked a guy at our local meet), but they have been out of stock for a while.

They were expensive (for what they are), but I would still like one :like:

Next doors kid hit the car with a football resulting in a bit of a scuff on the vinyl stripes of the boot. Luckily it happened on the morning that my new spoiler was delivered so this covers the incident. They have also apologised and offered to make it right, but I'd ordered the spoiler anyway.

Bit the bullet in actually installing it with a drill, making sure the holes were deburred and exposed metal was painted.... Will now hope for the best that it's water tight enough but wishing I'd have used some thin rubber washers... But I'm happy with the end result and wil see how it holds up.

It's nice they apologised. A few months ago, teenage boys playing football on a pedestrian way kicked the ball into my face and glasses. It struck me hard enough that I had to go home and take paracetamol. Nobody said sorry. That's today's society in London.

Where's the scuff ?
It was here on the bootlid, maybe I could have tried heating up the wrap to see if it would come out but luckily covered now.

A football, with a light coating of fine grit and dust can make a right mess of paint from a glancing hit - I’m not surprised it’s marked the vinyl up like that … :frown:

Yeah, I think nearly everyone has ring style cameras/doorbells now don't they.

Being kicked around on tarmac roughs up the edges don't it, first pic is where the sun is shining to highlight it most, vinyl softer than paint ain't it.

At least the spoiler looks good so worked out well in the end. Only ÂŁ120 from eBay so aslong as it holds up ok in the weather.

not today but weekend just gone went to Skye then across to Ullapool via Applecross then home, utterly roasting (for us Scots 23-30degC) and sunrise at 420am while camping is really not conducive to sleeping. Couple of photos from the run
@WD Pro this is the first day, mixture of single carriageway avg speed cameras, dual carriage way, single carriage way with no cameras and lots of corners for speed limit cruising and bend swinging

some layby in Skye

Applecross peak (small by some folks standards but the road up is very entertaining in a single track road with passing places, 60mph limit, three alpine style hairpins and countless blind corners but to get to the start of the run you have all of the above bar the hairpin corners! Sign at bottom of road (google pic) from Scotland Info Guide https://www.scotlandinfo.eu/applecross-bealach-na-ba-shieldaig/

bealach-na-ba-sign.jpg

arrived at peak and car was sweating, CHT 110degC and oil temperature also 110degC (air con was on for the entire run)

and final fill up after getting home, i obviously have a pathetic right foot though i did have precious cargo onboard for the entire trip. @WD Pro - check out that Miles to E :giggle:  more like for such a run
