Yeah,......that's definitely a sad day for sure.
Yeah, it was a frigid 75° today, I had to put on a wool sweater and turn on the heater before I put the top down ...

<hahaha, yeah, I know ... FU :D>

Who am I kidding, I never put the top up :rockon:

Got a Mach1 inspired hood stripe from BigWormGraphix and now I’m itching to install it.

I went with matte black, but now I’m having second thoughts and thinking maybe I should have done gloss...

Gloss would match the other black items you have on your car

well, if all you have is 6V your batter is trash. It either shorted or some interconnect leads broke. And do elaborate on what lunacy calls for 'restarting the car 3x after coming home' from a very short drive.
First, "lunacy": If the batter (sic) failed to start the engine after a short (very?) drive, The battery would be trash and I'd have to deal with it. If it kept enough charge to restart one or two or three times there might be hope for it.

After that test showed it might still be viable, it sat for a few days, then started up and acted like a normal battery. A twelve-volt battery. Apparently not shorted, no broken leads. I haven't hooked it up to the charger again, but will before installing the new battery (obtained in a moment of semi-panic). I think maybe the charger acted that way as a message to the inept. We'll see, tomorrow.

Hey Scott, I did a similar job last week. Those Bullitt covers end up being expensive considering the included hoses are not needed. I got the engine cover idea from Chef jpd in a recent post.

How did you go about this trim? What did you use? Also any suggestions on a paint company that can handle engine bay temps?

I did the cloth stick-on covers made from headliner fabric. Worked great and looks clean. Sunvisor Solutions 2350 Ebony
