That looks like a variation on the standard 2 point to suit the 500’s DCT :like:

WD :like:
True, 2 point but the purpose is the same, and one is better than the other

As mentioned I am surprised the 500 would need the upgrade, 350 maybe but should not.

I have had both 350 and 500 owners mentioned they noticed a difference in higher speed cornering with this brace tho the 350 has the room for the 4-point one and the 500 does not due to the transmission.

Today I:
-finished leather center console with facelift silver stitching design, same on side console covers;
-removed center speaker and made a custom leather cover without "hole" for the speaker",
-assembled the A and C pillars on same fabric as the headliner and done a new tweeter cover (metal with Chrome ring), and assembled all the parts:

Outstanding work, love the attention to detail!!! At first I was apprehensive about the MB vent swap but the styling really matcheds the stereo knobs.

Since you have so much traction/intrest from the rest of us, you should make a build thread with some of the details of how you executed this. I would love to find out more.

Great job! 🍻 :like: :clap:

Well, it's a decent deterrent... not knocking it, but also know that the evil ones can spend $62 or less, saw through the steering wheel and still walk away with a $50k+ vehicle that h-a-d a "club like" steering wheel lock...

Most likely but gotta at least try. At least put off any wannabe thieves. I seem to have opened a can of worms with my post though, so my apologies about that.

In most cases, just the appearance of some kind of security like that will deter most thieves. It’s easier to just move on to the next one. Unless you have something specifically they’re after, then they’ll find a way no matter what. As long as you feel more secure, at the end of the day that’s all that matters.

Took both cars to the local touchless wash today. Needed to spray a layer or 2 of salt off. Can now do a more thorough rinseless wash in the garage or driveway tomorrow. Is it spring yet 😂

There was nothing wrong with your post. We have to do what we think is best for us....period....what others think about it, is not really a factor. I can only imagine what would happen if a thread was started on home security, cyber security, phone security...etc.

Went out to the barn, lifted the Mustangs cover, let her know we are going on the 2023 Hot Rod Power Tour.
Tix & Hotel rooms set, only 147 days to go.
