Ohhhh, ok got it - sorry to hear of the hail damages. If the shop doing the PDR work is really good, you're not even going to be able to tell that happened. Some of those PDR guys do fantastic work.I had hail damage, I didn't even see it on the chrome trim, they showed me one or two small baby bumps, I was like... yeah.. not replacing it, til they said insurance does it all for me, I said DONE. I don't even care, replace the whole car. as long as I don't have to pay anything.
I've seen some posts in the GT350 sub forum where some experienced leaks or the cap has vibrated off. See here:
Yea, I'm not sure how it's occurring either, but wanted to pass it along as I'm not sure how many sub-forums folks peruse on here.Interesting, but I'm not sure how that's even possible. Even if the cap (which threads very tightly and has an o-ring) were to come off, it still doesn't open the valve. The mechanism is really clever.
That’s the same brand I have. Mine is the magnetic holder with two tabs that lock into the slots in the vent opening. It also has clear round stick-on bumper pads in three spots that help it to maintain a tight fit. It suddenly loosened up on me during a long drive while I was running the AC and now it just wiggles in the slot. Maybe I need to replace the bumper pads to get it to fit tight again.Joleobee. No tape.
Yeah, that's pretty dang nice too. But does the top come off?i dont know i think this is a hell of a truck and what im going to get after i pay off my S4 next spring
