Took her out of storage for the afternoon since it was almost 70*. Only put 15 miles on it but it was glorious! Neighbors got an ear full. Back into hibernation this evening. Damn Pux Phil predicted 6 more weeks of winter, thanks big guy….

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that I will be in the same boat.

I'm on stock brakes, and i don't like how much I have to get into them to really slow me down.

Gonna get the steeda steel brake lines and see how that goes, and plan to move to Hawk DTC 30's, and Hawk rotors too.

Was advised I would be going through these regularly on the track and since I daily the car too. They said the brakes would be noisy and dusty, but I kinda like that.
A car club member has a machine shop and did a tech seminar on cryo treating parts to increase hardness. One of his clients races at High Plains Raceway in Co Springs and after cryo treating his rotors he reported a 5X to 7X improvement in rotor life.

I just purchased the

1) Uniden R7 from Amazon

2) Steeda coolant reservoir tank

Need to purchases the coolant overflow hose (mine leaks where it connects on the front of the tank and at the radiator connection). I was thinking of buying these silicone hoses from Mishimoto, anybody used it? Stock one is like $50 just for one, might as well pick these up? Don't know much about Mishimoto quality.

Handling Package splitter with rivnuts, Schroth Quick Fit Pro harness, and the infamous Pioneer subwoofer upgrade.

The car is now 100% handling package plus some upgrades (Steeda and BMR).

I finally got my custom wheels ceramic coated! A day to cure and then a day to find in order to toss them on. I can't wait to see what it's gonna look like!

Do we get to see the wheels before install, 😊
Nope! 🤣 Come on, just a few more days! This has been a huge thing for me and I really wanna do the grand unveiling correctly and try to shoot some great pics and scenery. Not just the phone camera!

It's really just wheels. Everything else on the car you can't really see. The PPF, the ceramic, sequential blinkers and a brake light from diode dynamics, as well as the fourth brake light, things like that you can't really see as it is circumstantial.

The wheels are the biggest thing.

Aww man, I’ll be out of town for 3 months with no internet access. I’ll miss the unveiling, guessing there will be bourbon & cheese cake there…..

🤣🤣🤣 I get it, don’t blame you. looking forward to it and I know your excitement.

By stock brakes do you mean brembo brakes? I would do a brake fluid bleed first to get some of that brake pressure. Stock pads and lines are more than enough on track unless you are above novice level.

Also, Hawk pads are known for eating wheel finishes and rotors so make sure you never let the brake dust sit for too long. If anything, I would recommend GLOC pads and get GS1 for street and R12 for track use. They can be used on the same rotor. Just my two cents
