Breaking it out more often after the recently completely full xpel ppf...they did an excellent job given the complexity with cars that have OTT matte stripes. Love this thing. Steeda clutch spring and JLT rock blockers will go on before a 150 mile cruise this weekend.

Got my new plates in.
TX requires "DV" at the beginning or end of the personalized disabled veteran plates, but it can still be made to work.

Just moved to Texas and got my plates. Had to look it up on the internet to see that the state doesn't use plate tags. You should've seen how pathetic ex-Washingtonian me was trying to put new plates on the cars

On the bright side, TX plates look badass on Ruby Red - good color match with the black and ruby theme.

Thanks.
I really didn’t have a choice in color with DV plates, but if you’re looking to personalize your plates in TX, go to myplates.com and check out all the color and design options. There’s a bunch! I really like the diamond plate design, and the barbed wire plates

Those plates really compliment the car! I really look forward to eventually getting back to Texas.

I washed it with Gloss Shop rinseless wash. My car is black with a Modesta coating. The results were stunning. Beat the heck out of dragging out the pressure washer, foam cannon and MetroVac Air Force blower.

Passenger side oil separator, Ford Performance. Airaid blue air filter, Ford Performance. JLT Rocker Blockers. Literally took 15 minutes to do all three.

65 - Saw your post over on Autopia about the Gloss Shop Trifecta. You weren't happy with it. Is the rinseless wash you mention above something other than trifecta?

Wow! That's pretty observant. I thought about amending my Autopia post but got lazy. Now I guess I should. Anyway, it is the same product but different dilution ratio. The rinseless wash is one ounce product per two gallons of water. The waterless wash is more concentrated and, hence, has more wax. I think it was the wax that created the smears. Using it as a rinseless wash allows you to slop it on the surface with a wash mitt rather than misting it on with a sprayer, resulting in better coverage. It's easier to douse the section you're working on this way. The other key component was the super plush drying towel I bought during the last Autopia 2 for 1 sale. I wiped the whole car down with one towel and it wasn't close to saturated. I never had to wring it.
