There is a note on the Fathouse website
“2020+ GT500 requires slight trimming of the fan shroud for installation of the engine coolant reservoir”
It’s easy just score the gussets and they snap right off with pliers
I have a 2017 GT350 with a Gen 3 Whipple running a 3.5" pulley 13lbs boost. Lund E85 tuned. Factory OPG/CG. Stainless works headers into Borla exhaust
Granted I only have about 750 miles on this combo.
Car is now apart for OPG/CG, L&M cams, Fore return fuel system, Mantic triple disc clutch...
I installed the headers with the motor in the car. (Removed motor mounts and raised motor) I was able to install all the studs before sliding header in place. Which made it so much easier not having to try and start the bolts with header in place.
I did the headers and Borlas at the same time obviously so I don't know exactly how each piece affected the sound.
But think most of the change was from going from stock mufflers to the Borla ATAK
I didn't feel the cat deletes made the car sound "cheap"
It was really the sound of the stock...
I just finished installing Stainless works Headers w/Offroad Mid and Borla ATAK system.
I was nervous about the combo being too loud from reading others experiences with headers/exhaust
But I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome
Dont get me wrong its loud... maybe too loud for some... But I...
I considered locking out the VCT but I didnt want to give up any low end.
We locked out a 2015 Coyote/Whipple with a full set of the L&M "Intake Only" cams.
The car sounded so good... and we didn't notice a big loss in low end.
But I decided against it...
Yes I'm serious.
Car is a 17 GT350 with a 2.9 Gen3 Whipple w/3.5" upper making 12-13# boost on E85
VCT will remain active. Will be replacing OPG/CG at same time
Lund will be tuning it
Hoping to have a before/after dyno sheet
