So what coating was this and how many coats? If they even disclosed it.

The car was imported from Japan (right hand drive) and owner said it was ceramic coated. Don’t know what brand or how many coats. The paint had a ridiculous amount of swirls under the coating. I got them all out
and the owner was very happy. He was there during the process. He has 9 cars, 7 that I have detailed. I’ve Never experienced any paint like this. That being said, I’m very cautious what I put on my car after that experience. I have a lot of experience polishing high end cars and have many repeat customers. Malco is not my go to product, it worked after trying multiple compounds and pad combinations.

I signed up for July 30th through August 1st track days at Summit Point through AutoInterests and 1 more HPDE in September with the Greater Washington Mercedes Benz Club.

Also ordered MM CC plates.

If anyone in the Mid Atlantic area has suggestions for good shops I would appreciate it.

Not today, but my buddy and I met up in the south shore of MA and did a photoshoot with my 350.

The kid is young but insanely talented. Real good eye for detail.

Composition is good but I'd be tweaking the shadows in post to bring out some of the wheel detail hidden in darkness.

Added a windshield oval from Sticky Zombie. Did yellow but might switch it to white, not sure yet

My response is, unless the color is a spot on match, go with a contrasting color.

I agree, it isn't as close to TY as I would like. I ordered a white oval and the visor warning label covers from Sticky Zombie so I'll swap it when those gets in.
