I've wondered the same for my calipers on my Cyber Orange 2022. Black wheels.

Blue is not a bad idea.
Blue and orange is a good combo. Not sure if it’s out there, but a candy root beer would be a cool color and would complement the brighter orange

On a bright colour I have a similar dilemma, but for me it's one of two options :
  1. Graphite grey to match the Brembo's.
  2. Body coloured.
I have Brembo's, but I would have all four calipers done in a quality finish to get rid of the crap job that Ford do of the PP rear calipers and to swap the OE satin Brembo finish to a high gloss.

I am currently favouring the body coloured option, that would also be my advice to you ... :sunglasses:

I went different than most and did Grabber Blue. That won't work for your car, but too many people do red in my opinion. With your color car, I'd do silver with clear or even black. But that's my opinion.
I have grabber blue too

Same ride different color, I think I'm gonna go with gloss black. Would like to see how your wheels look if you decide to re-paint them
I dropped the wheels off at the shop to be blacked out. Should get them back early next week. Ordered the black 5.0 emblems.

Now I just need to find a set of black take-offs to replace my winter wheels.

Awesome, you gotta upload pics when you get them back on the car!

They are summer tires, might be a while unless I setup a photo op.
Also, would like to have the calipers painted for the photo.

I'm leaning toward the G2 caliper paint in Magnetic. I'm imagining something between black and the uncoated factory aluminum (mine are dingy now, so a little darker than new).

Some of the other more recent Ford grays have a little too much hue away from gray (e.g. Dark Matter looks purplish to me). Maybe Carbonized. Jury is still out... Could even end up also being black.

I seems like it took forever to find an opportunity to paint the calipers and detail the car with the spring weather raining every week...

Here are the photos:

I ended up painting them with the G2 epoxy paint in Ford Magnetic. I was hoping to spray them since Magnetic is metallic, but the sprayer that G2 sells clogged up before completing the first caliper so I ended up brushing them anyway. The metallic turned out OK with carefully applied brush strokes, but still noticeable up close that it was brushed on.

If I were to do it again from scratch, I would have probably only painted the rear calipers in a silver/gray that matched the original metal/rotors (or clear coat). The corrosion discoloration on the steel rear calipers looked terrible, but the aluminum front calipers looked OK bare.

I'll snap a closeup of the wheels for a better look at the calipers...

Which black paint did you use on the hydraulic lines? Does it also need to be hi-temp caliper paint?
Sorry for the late reply. They’re powder coated gloss black. I’m not a fan of everything being coated the same colour. The Brembos came off a GT500 and they were gloss black. Had the powder coater redo the lines gloss black. I kept the bolts that hold the two halves together gloss black and obviously the Brembo logo is red. Looks better with the colour combinations of gold, black and red.
