sorry to see this. glad you're taking care of it right away. and I hope it wasn't somebody slashing your tire, if so, these things are getting out of hand. I saw a post yesterday on Facebook of a mustang that was spray-painted all over the body of the car..."im slow".

apparently someone commented that people spray painting cars is becoming more common these days.

It's wise to replace just in pairs if there is much wear time on the set.

Apparently some have not priced a 305 series tire outside of a Nitto or Firestone or Sumitomo recently. If anyone thinks that's expensive for Michelins they better rethink ownership of a GT350 or put Nankangs on theirs next go around.

Been there man... C&D were not wrong when they said the car loves oil gas and tires ...

Had a nasty nail in the right front, then a mystery flat in the left rear, just replaced the whole set , ~$1000 But now the car is tip top sigh

The issue is Tire wear/grip/feel is so important to this car, I’m not sure if not replacing in pairs would be wise

So this isn't an April Fools joke....the Ford Dealership quoted me $963 dollars for 2 tires. I think I pissed the guy off when I laughed in his face. I expected as much being it's a dealer. But a co-worker suggested I check since he just got tires cheaper than anyone else.

That's the problem with these cars, stealership hears 'GT350' and think we are all rich. Anyhoo....happy Monday.

And I'd recommend you take the wheels off and bring them to the shop. Less for them to screw up. (Wrong torque, scratch/mar the wheels, etc)

Yes. That's what I am doing this evening. I don't want them using the impact gun on the lugs. I'll tighten by hand and then torque the lugs after installing.

5K on the tires. Tread depth is 4 or 5. But replacing both rear tires and keeping the left side good tire as a spare. There is a lot of road construction taking place in the Orlando area so hopefully this doesn't happen again.
