so my 17 only came with a single fob and I got a second from the dealer as part of the purchase, they did have to order one which meant a return trip to the dealer to get it setup. On returning home (my bad I should've RTFM before going to garage for second key) i realised the car said it had three keys programmed. So, the two i had in my hand plus i presume the original spare key that was never provided when i bought the car. The manual states all keys should be erased and then the current 'live' ones re-added, obv dealer didn't RTFM either. I got a local Ford dealer to do it properly and the car reported only two keys from then on and i've checked, both my keyfobs work on the car.
