Just wanted to chime in on the whole "hauling dogs" thing. Depends on the size of your dog. My 50+ lb Airedale rides shotgun occasionally and for in-town trips. When he was smaller, the back seat was an option, but too big now and the center hump makes it impossible to get comfy. He was a bit unnerved by the sporty ride and sat bolsters, but he's gotten used to it. I have considered removing the rear seat buckets and building a doggy shelf for the rear, since they're absolutely useless as passenger seats.

So cool.....he looks so behaved. More so than some pass I've had in my car.
