So when I let my car sit for about an hour or 2 I start it and it makes a weird clicking noise and just starts pretty much no crank noise then I turn it off and restart it and it starts like normal two or three cranks and starts I'm running a Paxton with 1000cc injectors, boost to pump, jlt intake, and Lund tune didn't really do it on the base tune but just thought it was odd that it does it after it cools down anyone else get this?

Does it sound like a lifter knock? You should post a video

Doubt it's lifter knock it literally makes the noise one time and it sounds like it's coming from the clutch pedal or behind the clutch pedal on the other side of the firewall and it fires up with no crank then if I restart the car multiple times after the noise is gone

I just had a weird sound that was coming from the front of the engine and sounded like drivers side head area. Thought maybe a timing chain guide or cam phaser. It was the alternator. The pulley/shaft and play internally and was making a funny sound.

Does it sound like a carb car and your timing is to high.. Makes one spark knock then starts?

Take it to Ford. Have them use the IDS tool and do a crank sensor relearn. They have a different name for it. It takes a couple of minutes and if you talk to the right person they will do it under warranty. I took my car in for a oil change and said "Oh yeah, can you throw the IDS tool on my car and do a quick crank sensor relearn for me". Getting the oil change made it where I had the car there any way.. If you need a oil change, slide the CSR in on it.. It takes more time to plug the IDS Tool up than it takes to do it.

Let me know if it works for you..
