I loved my Ford Performance Touring Axle backs by Borla until I made a trip to the Upper Peninsula and back. About 1,100 miles mostly highway.
I noticed a drone at highway speeds and the exhaust becoming much louder.
I looked online on Mustang6g.com and found a link where a fellow posted a video. Very nice. Also posted was a link to David at Borla. So, on Saturday I sent an email and amazingly I got one back that morning! The responder said Borla would get a hold of me on Monday to fix the problem.
That said, I went under the car at idle and found a hole on each muffler under the inlet pipe. It was blowing a lot of exhaust and making a weird noise. When I put my finger over it, the sound stopped. So, I'm thinking these ABs might have a problem. If it was a drain hole, would it do this? Very weird.
Has anyone else ever encountered this?
