Weird message in between gauges.

I got to work and shut the car off and read a message "turn car on now or key required." I started the car and it worked fine. I checked and had the key in my pocket. Not sure what this message means. Anyone else ever see it?

Simply means to turn car back on, drive home, take the day off.

IDK it sounds like maybe the car and fob are not sync'd properly. So the car prompted you to verify the key that it sensed was the one programmed for your car.

Could be in the manual, such as troubleshooting section.

I've heard about this. That's what insurance is for. I think I would be more impressed if the people I live around actually knew how to do this than pissed off.
