Weird interior lights issue

Some twat pulled in front of me this morning and I slammed on the brakes. I was doing 40 and the car skidded a little. Accident avoided but then I noticed that my main dials were no longer lit up and neither were all my switches like the stuff on the stalks and steering wheel.

Continued driving and it all came back a few minutes later.

Very odd unless it's some reaction to rapid deceleration.

Mustang is 5 days old.

That's super weird. Maybe try disconnecting the battery and let it sit, see if it resets[?]
