Kind of funny how a top end after market exhaust manufacture has a product go out the door without something as simple as a weep hole . It’s right up there with the $10 pipe clamps at no charge that are included in a $1300 cat back system sales pitch.
Water vapor is part of the combustion process modern engines are efficient doesn’t take much for the exhaust water vapor to reach dew point at start up and initial run time especially in cooler temps. It hard to rely on warmed up exhaust at it is saturated with water vapor though it above dew point to evaporate condensate. Larger mufflers because of their greater surface will produce more condensate at dew point start up.
Borla does use 300 series stainless that is better than the 400 series that some other brands use. The chromium oxide layer with 300 series that forms as the protection layer is probably best served with a small drain then to act as a container.
Borla you've got the sound, the free clamps how about the weep holes ?
