Uninstall Waze reboot phone and then reinstall Waze. Thats how I got it to work.updated the SYNC 3 using the CYANLABS updater. 2018 ECO. That went smooth. the SYNC sees the android auto, but no WAZE.. The phone is an ANDROID, connected by USB. What am i doing wrong? Or how do i get it to work?

As far as I know you can only get waze to show up on the screen when connected via USBDid you use bluetooth or usb cord?

Yeah, our cars don't have wireless AA or ACP, so you have to use a USB cable. It's just coming out on some new cars.As far as I know, you can only get waze to show up on the screen when connected via USB
OT but there was a kickstarter or crowd funded box that was a bluetooth to hardwire convertor you would install in your car and it allowed your phone to connect via bluetooth and present the connection as a USB connection to the car
saw it poo up a few times but not sure if it ever got traction
