Well I got in my car today and discovered a water leak near the front of the passengers side door. The door had not been opened, and the window is all the way up. We had some crazy down pour rain since last night, but I’ve never seen this before. Any ideas?

That looks almost identical to a photo I took a while back.

Mine went in to Ford only 6 months into ownership (Dec 2017), it was in and out over a period of 3 months and they only half solved the issue - made a repair to the A pillar area. It went back in the same time the year after, and the entire wiring loom had to come out due to water damage, as well as plugging a weak spot in the firewall where the water was getting in.

Mine was an extreme case but hopefully some useful info in my thread. Note that mine is a RHD. Good luck.

Thanks. I hope this isn’t going to be a huge issue. This car is out of warranty, and I haven’t even owned it for a year. I’m pretty close to getting rid of it.
