Here is the video: https://tubitv.com/movies/500135/a-faster-horse
Jump to about 12 minutes in and you will hear this: "So okay up in this a-pillar joint here. There's an air leak. Through here, there's a water leak". Then the chief engineer jokes "Other than that, this was the best joint we've ever designed."
Very cool video. Thanks for the link.

Completed my buyback this week and picked up a 2023 GT 6mt with 301a package in carbonized gray metallic. Loving it.

I'm having an interior water leak problem currently, appears to be coming from the driver's side A-Pillar, the drivers side floorboard, behind the front driver's seat was soaking wet, which was the result of me washing the car.

It took me a few days to notice it, but when I did I towel dried it as best as I could and then hit it with a blow dryer thoroughly for about an hour or so, before everything was finally nice & dry.

Have to investigate this further.

So, after reading TSB 22-2242 I'm about 99% certain I tracked down my A-Pillar water leak and the culprit is the Driver's side A Pillar door seal/sticker.

If you look at the pic below you can see how the top of it is peeled away from the body:

After I hooked the edge of it with a coat hanger, it came off quite easily:

I plan on fixing this myself and the biggest problem appears to be access.

I think the proper way to try and get the best access to the A-Pillar door seal area, is going to be to jack the car up, pull off the front driver's side wheel off and then remove the push rivets that hold the fender liner in place and pull the fender liner out of the way.

Then I believe there is some foam I have to move out of the way and at that point, I believe I should have pretty clear access to that area, so I can clean it and seal that hole back up again.

Is there anybody on the forum who has tackled this job on their own and if so, is the working plan I laid out, the best way to access the hole where the A-Pillar door seal is?

Thanks in advance.
