Have a 2019 GT and found the above problem! Once I started searching, it was clearly a well documented fault!
I replaced the 'cloth/tape' type covers over the hole in the A post with a rubber grommet epoxy resined in (and did the passenger side).
Then noticed water coming in between the bottom of the door card and door frame, so door cards removed and the plastic film was found to be, well not very well stuck! All film is now Tiger sealed back on!
But, water was still getting in somewhere...
This is the bit I hadn't seen documented and therefore it's about time I put something back in to help! I think it's the same fault that some have had dashes etc removed by Ford to repair!
There is a grommet high up above the accelerator pedal that needed sorting. It's accessable from the engine bay by removing the wiper arms, scuttle panel and then peeling back the sound insulation...
The seam sealant was stopping it properly seat. Removed it and trimmed the sealant back, then epoxy resined the grommet back in. It's sat outside in the fine Bristish summer for a fortnight and remains dry...success!
Few photos and thanks to all that have helped me!
