You must have the A/S (see it says PP next to your avatar though); 34° and I was having a hard time pulling out onto the main road this morning (uphill) with any throttle input over approx 5%. They are like the plastic tires that came on the Big Wheels when I was a kid.

Gotta get a winter tire on the car but I'm moving next month and have so much to buy with so little to buy it with :lol:

Yep, it was only 57 here this morning and just barely touching the throttle coming out of my driveway and it slipped.

Don't confuse snow tires as only being good in snow. They are designed for low temps and have an added benefit of working well in snow/ice conditions.

I am not confused on their performance in other seasons as that is what I normally run on cars once I kill the summer tires. I was trying to say they are better than marginal below freezing.

I'm selling all 4 of mine with GT Prem. wheels & TPMS - factory take-offs with less than 20 miles on them for $600. Just the tires alone + mounting, balancing etc. will set you back more !

In my experience, they also have fantastic traction in the rain...much better than the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's on my previous car ;)

I will have three P-Zeroes on my hand in a couple of days...no rims, though. I already have one with only 1,900 miles on it sitting in my garage (in a snow tire bag, ironically :lol. My rear Hankook Ventus S1Noble2 all seasons come in Friday...(the rears should have about 6,500 miles on them).

How do the earlier mentioned all seasons and alternatives behave in the summer, most notable in the steering feel area? I would happily sacrifice a little pure grip if the front (also in the summer) if the tires would be more informative about what is actually going on over there (and I do run the correct tire pressure). With that said, I do also live in the pacific NW and while the absence of traction in the wet conditions is just hilarious it is the absence of real steering feel in both summer and winter that I would like to address. As I'm a firm believer of running the same type of tire on every corner and the rears being at end of life I am curious to read how which tire works on the front-axle. Thanks for any input .

Which is why I say let the 10-15% of us who actually track the car buy the summer tires, and give us a good all season with the PP ;)

Agreed. I wanted the Brembo's but took a pass on the PP because I didn't want to deal with the summer tires. My car is my DD.

The best thing about the P-Zeros is that they wear out really quickly. Then you are forced to put a real tire on in its place.

I chose Michelin PSS. What a huge improvement, especially in the rain. Better dry grip as well. And improved steering feel. I would say Ford is doing themselves a disservice by aligning with Pirelli. The way my car drives with the Michelins is just better all around.

As to the P-Zero and cold weather. Yes they lose grip. So as a driver it's your responsibility to compensate for that. Drove on mine all last winter without issue. Temps down to 0*F. Yes they would spin or slide if I got too happy but that's on me, not the tires.

Would winter tires be better? Absolutely. No question. But no need to panic if your on the stock tires. Just go easy and avoid snow/ice. That is for sure a deal breaker.
