So after reading reviews after reviews, I decided that if I wanted to test a new shifter, it had to be the Mgw, but I was really worried since my car is my dd and I see traffic and sometimes Its something you instantly hate or love, but I just did the install and I fawking love it!!!! The warning is if you read this, you will have to buy the Mgw because I didnt know how crappy the stock shifter was! First impression its shorter in height,it has more spring resistence but that helps to find the gear much better and after doing a few wot I have no missed shifts which I hated with the stock shifter, now it feels like Im driving the car in a much precise way and I went to ride in the city and its just awsome, install was pretty straight foward and taking my time, took me 3hrs . MGW FTW!!!!

Bro, the MGW really is amazing! I just swapped to BG Syncroshift II fluid and that made shifting even better. I had RP in prior to BG Syncroshift II.

Just bought the car, drove for 5 days and the notchyness sucks. This post sealed the deal for a dd myself.

I have an auto... but read where there is about a 2 month wait list for them now... they must be doing something right.

Side note: I had an MGW on my old GT500 and loved it.

I am getting mine installed tomorrow along with a fluid swap. I can't wait, I must admit reading the title of this thread got me nervous!

MGW, Fluid swap, SS clutch line, spring removal, and poly motor and trans mounts.

Feels like a top loader, love it!!

i'm on the books for a june 15th install! mgw definitely has a good problem to have!

steeda spring for the clutch will be here sometime this week. definitely not running springless. last thing i need is to be replacing something with the clutch because I didn't spend $9 on a spring.

I'm getting one installed in June, can't remember when. Going to MGW for it. Already have BG oils, didn't notice all that much difference with the oil.

Not here to disparage the MGW but I have the Barton and it's also a significant improvement over the stock shifter.
