I just ordered my 18 GT350 and have been looking at all the 'goodies' (including the R-style wing) I'd like to get once it arrives. Lots of options out there for sure. But when one of my searches returned something from Walmart I was truly surprised.

Anybody seen one of these in person? I guess I could always order and return it if it wasn't a good value.

Still find it amazing that they would have anything even close to this available.

FYI That's not sold by walmart, it's a 3rd party selling on walmart.

To each his own but I would never modify a car to make it look like another model. You either have the money to buy the R or you dont. You cant just buy the gt350 not pay the extra 10-20k with ADM and then all the stuff to it. Its no different than people buying a 528 or 328 and add a quad exhaust with a diffuser and then put an M badge on the trunk.

I would love an R but I couldnt get myself to pay 20k more.

There are forums for porsche, bmw, etc where they have dedicated threads for these kind of things where they take pictures of copy cats and post them. It is a bit embarrassing sorry to say.

I m not against modding but this is different.

I can understand why someone would want the R wing especially on track. But I definitely would not want the R splitter on my Track Pack car. I'll do my own thing and get APR canards. Save some scrapes and still get the front end to stick a little more.

What about aftermarket R style wheels?

I could care less about model designations. Ford makes parts that fit more than one specific option package. I have more to say about this but I'm on the phone right now chastizing Multimatic for making a plane Jane body in white look like an R model and then having the gall to call it a GT4 Mustang. Somebody should post pictures of this charade so we can all point fingers at it.

Or shift knobs or steering wheels?? Who gives a shit? Ive yet too see anyone install one of these parts and then tell everyone their GT is a GT350. Now rebadging is a different thing...:thumbdown:

Almost any retailer is a 3PD.

Lots of people like the C2C wing at $1,800. Is the C2C wing $1,100 better in quality and fitment than this Vicrez wing (or any other brand for that matter)? That's what I was asking really. Anyone seen both of these in person?

Putting an R style wing on a non-R 350 doesn't seem like the ultimate sin to me. But I guess there are other options out there....

have to agree about the wheels. I have seen plenty of GT350 on the forums with "R type" wheels. So getting the wing ? No big deal. Hey its your money and your car. Do what you will with it.

I'm offended when R owners try to mimic the regular GT35O by adding the regular splitter. Or when they buy clone style 6GR wheels to make their R look like a non-R owner that is trying to look like an R.

I personally don't care if someone wants to buy an R style wing or R style wheels.. but I think if I were to upgrade either of those items I'd go a different directon personally. There are certainly better options out there, I think the vast majority of the 6gr purchases are cost driven.

Belts or suspenders, boxers or briefs. I will not be offended and don't really want to know.
