Just know as you move into super niche cars you fall into the whims of the Dealer for parts. You can get any joe to do labor..... but GM will get you on those exclusive CTS-V parts that aren't shared with other models.

I am not sure if I qualify, as I went to the site. and they didn't have option for nj. I am a sheriff officer could I qualify?

Join the Mustang Club of America for a year($50) and you immediately qualify for x-plan.

in your opinion Better why? because its newer?
im unfamiliar with cadillacs or even mustangs for sure but I was assuming the cts-v is a better built car over all?
Before you even make a decision its best you research both cars heavily before you make a decision. The CTS-V and Mustang GT, is, in my opinion, two cars that are WORLDS apart of each other.

I would be very tempted to get the cts-v at that price. Let us know what you do.

If I could find a 6sp wagon for a reasonable price I'd be in one of those. CTS-V is an awesomemobile.

I was going to put my order in for gt p, pp. which came out to 43-44 ish.
But ive been wanting the ct-v coupe 6sp and I found on for 37k w 37,xxx mi .

who is familiar with these cars if so what is the better option considering depreciation on the mustang once I drive off. and overall car specs thanks.
I have a 2011 CTS Coupe Premium currently.... I know it's not a V. Still an excellent handling vehicle though. My one problem with it is the interior technology is light years behind Ford. Bluetooth is only for phone calls- you cant use Bluetooth audio. Navigating through your music on a USB drive is extremely painful as well. My 2008 MKZ that I had was packed with better technology than this car. If you are getting a 2013 or newer this has been addressed with the CUE system. The 2015 Mustang is going to be the better value to you at this point IMO

But the stealth fighter looks and 556 HP will always be badass :D

Good luck with your decision!!

Thanks for all the opinions and help. I decided to go with cts-v
I felt is was an overall better car. And I got a cheaper interest rate. I'm loving this car

Congrats on the Caddie! I think you chose poorly, but it's definitely a sweet ride. :D

You've not chosen poorly at all.

Never pass up the opportunity to drive a nice car. Just make sure you sell it in 12 months and get a '16 Mustang GT 350. :D

the car is 37k
what other issues do u know about. the car comes with 3.5k in uprades exhaust intake etc. car is very immaculate have another year on warranty. what other issues do u know about?
A modded car with a supercharger was definitely driven by a speed junkie, and probably included a tune at some point. This is a pleasure purchase and I'd have zero peace of mind when it came to reliability. In all likelihood it was both cared for and abused at high RPM's. If this is your daily, that's something to consider. Personally, I wouldn't. But I'd also never entertain a used manual trans Mustang for the same reason.

Edit: Woops, congratulations. May your new ride be ever-reliable.
