Sadly no, they have pre delivery to do plus it wil take dealer 3 days to do paint protection, window tinting, install tracker system and the styling kit. Just as long as it's as close to perfect, will be happy.

Has anyone used or got a quote from WA opti coat person yet?
If so can you please PM me to compare?
I have some numbers from a guy who does North of the river and want to double check the pricing... OMG it's up there !
Has not scared me off but want to make sure it's worth it ?
Also recommend any tint people or vinyl wrappers ?
I bought my car from MCFORD.

Got two quotes including the north of river guy, before deciding to go with Glasscoat being done thru McFord. Getting window tint thru them as well. All covered by dealer warranty also as had a bad experience a few years ago with speakers in door after window tint done out of dealership. Window tint I will pm you details on as I have to look up in my file.

Tony from Diamond Detailing 0417 958 358 does Ceramic Pro paint protection - $6-650 quoted for my convertible. Mark from Freedom Car Care Kinross 0413 711 611 quoted $1100 for Opt coat. Both products same warranty.
Vinyl wrap - Found that Tint a car online, have a lot of info on a full vehicle wrap with the self repairing new technology vinyl - have a look - as you can get partials eg, bumpers only etc. Apart from Tintacar, I have been quoted $3995 ($500 discount to WA Mustang Club members) from Car Stereo Shop for front bumper, half bonnet, side fenders, guards and mirrors plus full rocker panels, then right down to $1499 from my dealer for front bumper, side mirrors, door handles and forward rear of the wheel arches - add on Bonnet strip of 18", door edges, top of the rear bumper for another $870 takes it up to $2370 - so shop around people!

I'm trying to decide whether I should do some paint protection as well.

Has anyone found any **technical** reasons to distinguish one product from another ?

Tantash - I was interested McFord were offering something called Glasscoat because Titan Ford are offering "Protektiv" (I would have thought the Ford dealers would be standardised)

I just bought some collinite 915 Wax which gives an amazing shine and is very durable....I will just apply every 8-12 months. I believe if you do it every 6 months im not sure it cant do anything that opti-coat can?

That's exactly what I was wondering (ie if you polish it regularly, the end result is the same)

I opticoated my SRT it was great....I put Collenite On my wife's Lexus a couple of weeks ago (highly recommended product) the shine is better than the opti-coat, water beads ridiculously well?? it was $80 and there is enough to do my car 100 times.

No they aren't anymore. McInerneys are an independent dealer - no linked to any of the vehicle co-ops around, so free to use whomever they think best product wise.
