I don't see it asked anywhere so I'll ask.
So it allows the ECU to read the post intercooler temperatures (IAT2) properly. If I want to look at IAT2 on my nGauge I see it's not populated.
Oh and now the inlet temperature in my dash is running hotter. Are they tied in now?

That harness basically makes the ECU and your ngauge show the IAT, or BAT, BCT, ACT as the IAT1 that was originally showing the temp from the MAF.

The MAF temps are the temps measured right after the intake air comes through the filter...and now with the VMP harness you have the temps being read POST supercharger system, pre cylinder head - so it is the actual temp of the air as it is entering your cylinder heads. You are now reading the temps that truly matter with a supercharger.

Yes, they will definitely be higher.

As for the IAT2 not reading - that is because you have the harness relocating your IAT1 sensor.... So you have to look at whatever the PID is for the IAT1 or ACT,BAT etc.

I don't like seeing those temperatures up there but I guess it's operating temperature for this thing.

Yup. They can get high.

Especially after a long drive in hot weather....shit the car off and it sits for 15 mins, then restart and you're like WHOA! lol

Yea I've seen it!
I just don't like it and it's been in the thirties in the morning here still. Even snowed one day last week but didn't stick.

I forgot to ask if that's pre-intercooler or post-intercooler?

That makes me feel a little better I guess. The other day is was 85ish outside and I was reading low 120's and I didn't like that much.

Post intercooler, that's the air temp going into the cylinders, what are you reading, I normally float around 25-40 above ambient temp depending on how heat soaked the car is as how slow I'm driving
