Got Lund tune. Switched IAT sensor to VMP harness and re-wired IC pump to key on source. Today was 75 degrees, saw 113 degrees IAT consistently while cruising in town. Did a couple hard pulls on highway and saw IAT jump to 155 degrees. Are these temps normal? I am used to the whipple IAT setup and usually saw about 3 to 5 degrees above ambient when cruising around town taking it easy.

Didn't get under the car, sounds like the IC pump is humming. Hard to tell for certain with exhaust and engine noise. I have a mishimoto tank, so cant see if coolant is flowing like in the stock resevoir.

Wondering if IAT's are normal?

The new IAT sensor is reading intake temps POST blower. Before you were seeing the temps at the intake. I have the oversized heat exchanger and my temps are very good. At 86F my temps are usually around 100 driving around. In Vegas it was 118F and my temps were around 135 driving. For me at 75F i would see temps around 98 so your temps are higher then normal. And usually my temps stay pretty steady on pulls. Sometimes even drop a little depending.

Mine usually peak around 20*C over ambient. Eg. 20*C day (68*F) I’ll see 40*C (104*F).
That’s with the oversized HE.
I’ve often wondered if the crushed shape the hose takes (shown in the pic) might be restricting the flow of coolant.

I've got the oversized H.E. as well. I am thinking i might have an air bubble and the H.E. isn't circulating properly.

always a good idea to make sure the system is burped properly and all air bubbles are out

I run the VMP dual fan heat exchanger and I put in a 170 Tstat. Its about 75 out here in vegas right now, last night cruising my IAT2 was about 98 and after I did a pull it got to about 108. I know I have a diff blower but 155 seems super hot, only time my car has seen 150 iat2 is sitting in traffic when its 110 outside.

Yeah that's high. Check for a kink where your filler neck tees off to return to the coolant tank. That line was almost shut on my 15-17 setup so ireplaced it with a 270* bend silicone piece and temps dropped immediately. Good luck!
