I switched to a sai li fuel system and id1050x injectors and a jlt intake and e85 this spring, running a 72mm pulley it went 9.9 at 139mph, I just switched to a 69mm and the sai li system wouldnt keep up anymore, threw a fore hat in it with twin 525lph pumps and its all good again, going to try...
thats what size i run in a street ss, its got me a 1.48 60' so far on stock suspension, ive modded the suspension a bit now and added a touch of power looking for something in the 1.3 range next time out
in sport mode if it spins it will pull a bunch of power to make it stop, I have a roush blower but I cant use 1'st gear on the street with et streets it blows the tires off from any speed roll in first
you can always just mix torco in the gas when you spray it, you need to pull the timing out, especially on a 200 shot that is going to hit hard, I used to spray a 150 on my 14 all the time they pulled 5-6* of timing out on the nitrous tune a 125 shot knocked 1.1 seconds off my 1/4 mile time
how many of you tvs guys run a 69mm pulley and what are your mods and track results? I have been running a pbd 2.75 pulley on pump e85 with headers full exhaust sai li fuel system and 1050x injectors and jlt intake for 10000 ish miles the car went 9.9 at 139 recently and I’m looking to try and...
without having a car infront of me this is just a thought but isnt the sway bar end link connected to the control arm? wouldnt that prevent it from lifting
I have not, honestly havent even looked at it yet, but i pulled it on my 2014 and it seemed to help some getting a little extra lift on the front durring launch
totally stock suspension, 305/40/18 et street ss at 17psi, i ordered a couple small suspension mods going to go back and try and knock that down a touch more before the end of the season
I have a roush but I leave at 2000-2200rpm and just mash it as i let off the brake, pulled a 1.4 60 and went 9.9 at 139 a couple weeks ago useing this method
I have a 16 with a roush blower set up, I spun it out the first year and had to have the car repainted, allstate covered it and didnt drop me after no one ever asked if it was supercharged and they never looked when it was in the shop, I still have allstate
Where are you guys picking up your vacuum at I’m working with a roush blower, looks like the hose going to the boost bypass valve would be the easiest, on other cars I normally go for something on the lower Intake manifold though
