I’m not trying to set records with my car. At first I was thinking Procharger, but I think I want the VMP for the low end torque.

Does the block need to be modified or shaved for the VMP unit to work?

What are typical power numbers from the VMP with the 85MM Pulley and the supplied tune?

Contact VMP. They know better than anyone.

Shaved? Shaved how? There are some mods that need to be done on the timing chain cover and there is a support brace that is removed on the 15-17 for clearance (same as on a Roush install) but nothing that will stop the car from being put back to stock.

My car came with a VMP 2.3 already installed. It's great. Their tune is a little weird, the throttle control has some bugs and the auto trans shift points could he better, but it does get up and go.

No but it’s nice to have a little seat shove without revving to 4500+ RPM
Not everyone will understand your desire to own a blown 5.0 V8 that drives as if it has a much larger displacement.
Any of the TVS offerings will cater to your needs, just keep in mind that the tune matters just as much as the rotor housing - possibly even more.
It’s no good having all the potential for some decent bottom end pull, combined with a tune that simply doesn’t offer enough aggression.

exactly.

I don’t want to reach for the stars for power because I want to keep the car reliable.
I was thinking any of the entry blowers with their supplied tune would be a safe bet. Hopefully anyway. More research needed.
