Did you happen to capture the turn signalling while you have the brakes on? Or the lights on and the brakes on? Just interested to know how visible the sequential turn signalling is, while the brakes are engaged.
member here made a video about it.

I've had mine since July of last year. Still work awesome.

The only thing I've noticed about these is that

1. When you are braking, and you use a turn signal, it will be delayed by 1 flash, as in it won't activate right away, but will activate on the second "flash" of the turn signal. If you aren't braking, and you use your turn signal, it will turn on right away.

2. If your lights are on the off position, and you are at a stop light in a turning lane, one of the lights won't turn off. In stock configuration, if you are at a light, with lights off, and brakes on, your brake lights will only be on for the tail light that is not signaling, while the one that is signaling is not illuminated (i assume this is that way so that it is easier to see when the turn signal is on. I imagine you can't really see 3 flashing lights if the brake light is on). The VLANDs are illuminated, even in the all red mode. I imagine they did this for the amber mode. If your brake lights are on, and you are signaling, it will just turn red to amber for the signals, which is easier to see.

A part of me wants to go back to stock 2018+ tail lights.

I think they look great on silver, though.

So I was finally able to dig into this today.

1) When the brake is applied I have a noticeable 2-3 second delay between when I press the stalk and when the turn signals start. This seems like a huge potential issue as if I am breaking and signaling if I am moving lanes quickly it will simply look like I am cutting people off as opposed to having my blinker on. Also not sure how that passed any safety testing.

2) Still waiting to try the second point. I always run my car in auto mode so not sure if this is going to affect me or not.

As for #1, I just tested mine and right w/ brake is delayed one cycle - so I noticed the front go on and off, then the rear starts. No other delays that I noticed. I'll have to see if I didn't have the green part plugged in all the way, but that's about the only thing I can think of would be an issue.

Would you say that's a full second delay or longer?

The lights definitely have a delay. Like what was said, your front ones will turn on, but on the second flash of the front ones, your rear ones will turn on instead of on the first flash.

I haven't had a problem with it. I've found that I usually change lanes when I'm not on the brakes anyway.

I will try to re-check mine either tomorrow or Monday.
Here's a vid I took when I tested. Mute it cuz my voice is obnoxious.

For me, I think it's interesting they only delay on the right side. But agreed, I usually try to signal before I get on the brakes, so it should be a moot point.

Hey, i just installed these Vland taillights, for my USA imported V6, and for some reason the only working lights are the running lights from starting the car/accessory mode, braking goes sequential.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this may be? I tried asking Vland but that wasn't very helpful :/.

So you have a USDM spec car and ordered the VLAND lights? Are they the five mode or the single?

Did you connect the yellow wire between the two lights? Also can you send a photo?
first image is connection to the 3rd brake light, connected properly, second is the yellow cable connected to the taillight left, same on the right.

Thanks! I'm not sure what is going on but braking going to sequential makes me think it is a wiring issue. The green connection on my car is on the right hand side (passenger) and I believe my third brake light looks similar. I would suggest unplugging both lights and then plugging everything back in. You could also unplug the third brake light and see what happens with just the two lights connected.

Side question, you didn't use the EU adapters that came in the box right? The US should be using what you got and not using the additional EU pieces if you have a USDM spec car.
