Ive got Magnaflow Competition cat-back..im taking the back section off and having it powercoated flat black. Mufflers, Tips, exhaust pipe, all of it.
I love how they sound, but my Magnaflow Competitions look absolutely terrible... All rusty and stained black....
I'm thinking about getting my power coated too.

Post some pics when you can!

If you want them to look really good powder coating is the way to go.

How much did that cost you for all that?
A tad over $200. $300 if you include the extra tips i bought for it. Not bad since it was very good quality work. And the strut tower badge had to be taken off and reriveted in and new foam placed behind

OP, I'm almost positive you can buy a $7 can of black plastidip and dip the tips. It should hold up fine since exhaust tips don't get too hot.

On my old car I used a red chrome paint and then a high heat clear. It came out perfect and never had an issue with it.

I might do that with my Strut Tower but with Red.

I wrapped mine with vivid matte black… been on the car for 2 months in this summer heat with driving …. No issues … if you post heat cure your wrap before installing on your car you’ll be fine

Clearly you need to drive it around for abit and park it and get out and grab the exhaust since you don't know how hot that really gets.
This :like:

Standard active exhaust, run 95% in track mode, no track work - check out the discolouration on the inner tips :
