Man, I totally get where you're coming from. I had a sweet ride I loved, but after about 30 minutes behind the wheel, my back would start screaming at me. It was super annoying, especially since I looked forward to those drives to unwind.
What helped me a ton, aside from messing around with...
I know this is an old post, but how does the belly pan attach to the bumper? I put mine on and the wind ripped it off. As far as I can tell there is no way to attach it to the underside of the lip.
I bought a cheap LED grill off of ebay like the RTR style one. Install was perfect and lights work fine. My question has anyone else gotten them and swapped the white LEDs with some RGB ones that are app controlled? If so what company/place did you get them at? If I cant find exactly what i am...
Mine are the same, sorry about the long delay on the response. I just used a ziptie and attached the driver to one of the wire looms behind the bumper cover.
I dipped mine the second day I had the car. I used just plain black and it has held up for almost 3 years. I will be peeling it off to do a different color soon though. Just make sure you spray enough coats (1 can per wheel is recommended).
The dupicolor spray sucks! I got the gloss black to do my mirror caps and even after 6 coats they were "spiderwebbing". I'll stick with PD, easier to spray and peel.
Dont do it, I got the hard covers for my 16 and they cracked one of my lenses. So now I have to replace the whole assembly. Just get them tinted and be done with it.
