VIN # !!!

Besides... you can toy with your order number and dealer code to see other people's order too... I did it

I tried that with no success. I must have tried over 100 numbers .. nothing.

And no VIN yet for me :(

If your dealer ordered your car in their stock order, you won't be able to use the order number and code to look up your car because if there is more than one car on the order, it won't show up in http://www.cotus.ford.com/. Well, not until you have a VIN. That stock order number may be very different than what they are using for custom orders (of any car they sell.)

I did it 5 numbers all were coupes and one a convertible, aLL were GT various options from same dealer. All order numbers sequenced no vin on any

So what you're saying is that if the car was issued a VIN already as of now, it's one of the cars on their stock order? I changed the last digit on the order # on cotus and there are 2 other orders that have been issued VIN #'s and were ordered on the same day I went in.

Did they order le version? That may or may not be case though.... they may have already used up their allotment as well

Not sure if this is true but I also heard from a dealer saying premium models being built first over base

They ordered one with a 50th Appearance Package and they were both premiums.

Maybe has to deal with allocation then... I have seen a few that have the 50 appearance and they too don't have vin yet no one actually.... the 5 orders I see...including mine.

No, I didn't order with any of the ADX plans. I checked this morning, and none of them including mine had a build date even though the dealer stock is supposedly starting production today, correct?

Mine was put in as a retail order and was ordered on 5/20, no VIN and x-plan. My dealer's 2 stock orders have VIN's so far.

Execs and press from what I heard... job one is not till august anyways.... I can wait sort of... rather have them get the manufacture process down then see how it goes from there.... never ordered pre production before... my Audi was almost a year after process at least for this side of the pond... they were already in production in germany

Got my vin today. Number 275 LE white with auto. No build date on paper from dealership but I'll check cotusb when I get home.

Mine was put in as a retail order and was ordered on 5/20, no VIN and x-plan. My dealer's 2 stock orders have VIN's so far.

Same here - ordered mine also on May 20th and no VIN either

My first post here, wanted in introduce my self,
Don from Boston, have a Roushcharged 2011 GT Auto, just got my vin and found out I am 219 of 1964 of the Anniversary edition

The wait is killing me, but looks like this is the most active of any S550 forums
