Viking crusader rear shocks

So I talked to Viking today and they said the mounts that came on my shocks are the t bar mounts and they started using those on the newer models because they are stronger than the other mounts. They did say however, that a downfall of using them are that they create much more noise than other mounts. They said people were breaking the stock mounts so they switched to these. I’m just going to continue using them and see what happens. I don’t daily drive the car, just some drag racing here and there. Not too fun daily driving 900whp lol

I just got my crusaders last week, no top mount like that. I used Steeda mounts. No noise at all. Fyi I'm in Cincy also, hit me up when you go out racing.

Went this route to try to tame my suspension on bumpy chicago roads. Was wondering what settings you guys have found for C & R that's good on the street for comfort, and also for the strip if someone wants to give out their winning combo lol.

Great shocks!
I’m pushing close to 800 rwhp, my settings are Street C-6 R-9 / Strip C-10 R-13 works well.

I'd recommend Steeda fixed pro actions over Vikings for the use you outlined.

I already have fixed pro action struts/shocks. There great on flat roads but chicago streets are mostly torn to shit and the pro actions are soaking up every imperfection. So I thought with some adjustability I'd be able to soften the ride when I DD and still be able to tighten her up at the track.

The Vikings just aren't built to take that kind of abuse.

I bought the cruise version which I inferred from its description that it's for DD, as they have drag/autocross/big tire/and high hp versions of the shock.

I know it wont fix the streets but just could do with a little more cushion especially on small bumps on the highway. I also understand I've done this to myself by installing a race suspension in my DD.
