Have decided that as I am going over the 4 passes in Switzerland would like better footage then 1 min blocks from the dashcam.
So would like to use my 3D camera and film out of the window.
But the camera is pretty heavy, but not to big, so could sit on the dash. but would need a strong strap or something to hold it in place.
Was thinking of maybe velco, but don't want any lasting marks on the dash or the bottom of the camera, also something that can be easy to remove when the car is parked up.

Any ideas folks?

thanks

Heavy duty suction cup with camera mount to stick it to the window.

Delkin Fat Gecko (that's not an insult in a foreign language).

Got these holding up Sanyo VPC-SH1 Xacti HD video cameras in all of my cars and never had one fall off the screen in 5 years and the roads over here are like an off-road test track.

Not the most discreet mount, but easily removable and sticks like shit to a blanket!

They also do a dual and triple cup version if your looking to hold something really really heavy or want to mount to the outside of the car and travel at speed.

thanks for the info, think might need the triple cup version, as this camera is twice as big and heavy as the Sanyo
