Enabling reverse camera whilst driving...?

Anyone seen a way to do it? I quite fancy using it as a rearview mirror.

Had a quick search of the forum but didn't see anything.

I was hoping for a way to do it via Forscan.

I've just done a bit of research and found this but I'd check your own values to see if it exists on our mustangs as it's from an F150 forum...

Checking to see if anyone figured this out. How to manually activate the camera whenever you want.

Have a look at www.fmods.net if it's possible then someone on there may have done it

As Mad Murph suggested above, F-Mods has a mod for this feature. I recently installed said mod and it works great.

First go on the F-Mods site and jail-break your Sync 3. This process is very easy, only one flash drive is required. Then go to mods and download the reverse camera mod which puts a camera icon on your home screen that calls the reverse camera on demand.

The only problem I had was, when I would accelerate to a certain speed (I think around 20 MPH) it would cut off, the screen would go blue and give an error message. After 10 seconds or so, it would revert back to the home screen. Using Forscan, in the BdyCM, I changed the rear camera configuration from BCM to IPMB and that fixed the issue (as suggested on the said mod page). Now the rear camera works flawlessly on demand regardless of speed.

Just tried to register on Fmods but rejected claiming no MX records for my domain. Nothing wrong with them. No change in over 10 years. Same email I use here and dozens of other sites. I'm guessing they are using some buggy code that fails domain names with a dash in them. Ran into that on another site years ago. Not worth creating a new domain or gmail, etc. address just for one site. Anyone know a contact email for mod or admin? None exposed without being already logged on.
