I'll probably give one of the two that have links. I don't really want to be shelling out £300 odd if I only use it a couple of times. I don't really do any adventure sports anymore, (mind is willing, body is broken :lol:) if they were around 20/30 years ago when I was skydiving and canoeing then I'd definitely have a top notch one. I don't even care about the sound quality, although on reflection I might.

If I catch the 'bug' for them then yeah, it could be on the cards :thumbsup:

Coincidentally I've been researching this very subject for my newly acquired trackday car. GoPro are obviously the market leaders but do seem to be a tad on the expensive side. I was wondering if there were alternatives so spent a while looking around. In the end I bought this (Ricoh WG M2) as a half-way house between expensive (GoPro) and the very cheap stuff you see on eBay ....

You can get them for around £170 and there are also various mounting accessories available with magnetic or suction cup bases.
