I think it would be a tiny bit blocked but still work as intended. I saw the grill with the lights on a few websites now i only see them without the lights. Let me know where you get it form and how you like it, i was trying to see how the lights hook up but didnt find any documentation on it.

Can you confirm that my stock intake is really partially blocked by the fake plastic grille strut? It is pretty hard to see before drilling out any grille holes.

it's blocked alright. If you look at pictures of the ram intake installed, you can see there is quite a bit of curvature there to allow for proper channeling of the flow. If it wasnt blocked I wouldnt have designed this ram intake

I can put together a discount sheet for price vs. number of buyers. So far I think 6 have signed up. Give me a day or two to work out some numbers and I will put together the group buy. :cheers:

In some ways I like the plain grille bc the GT's "fangs"look so fake. But aftermarket grilles are so pricey. If the grille struts didn't block the stock intake, then I wouldn't be interested in this product. But as a fellow engineer, form follows function, brother!
