This makes the most amount of sense to me. Why leave the wheels, glass, driver's seat, and engine alone if you are that pissed at someone?Insurance job.

Not 100% convinced that this is an insurance job, mainly because why not just make it disappear totally? why not strip it down and sell the parts at a later date? you could make a killing from the parts alone and still get the insurance check. Looks to me like the owner pissed off some side chick or wife and took revenge on the item that was most important to himInsurance job.
Nah, that's what mysterious fires are for.Insurance job.
Pro tip:Whoever did this wanted to take his manhood, heart, and dreams.

Agreed - maybe it was a Tech Pack?Don't look like a crime of passion to me, that is done by someone who knew they had time, the windows look intact, that would be the 1st things to get damaged, and in one picture looks like holes punched through the door.
that was done with the intention of 100% writing off that car, all that damage would have created a lot of noise, and would have taken some time.
crime of passion is anger, that was not done in anger, I would say it was it was a planned attack.
The motor itself is $25k+ from Ford.I can't believe the bid is that high... Not worth that price at all imo.
