So I got a few little goodies in today. A new oil cap to add to the under hood action and a Hurst Pistol Grip shifter, which I could not be happier about! Love the look and feel of it. Definitely worth the money.

that shifter looks mean AF!
I couldn't agree more! I almost bought a shift ball from White Madness Garage and then I saw this. They had my money before I could get it out of my pocket :headbang:

Awesome pictures! This is one mean looking stang.
Thanks man I appreciate that! I see you're in Oceanside. Marine? I lived in Oceanside for a few years when I was stationed at Pendleton.

Took the car back to the dyno today. Didn't make as much power as I was hoping after the header install, but ultimately makes sense due to losing some boost. Numbers were 706/532. At least I am in the 700 club now.

The Hurst shifter looks great. Is it shorter than the oem shifter? Oem shifter was too tall for my liking.
It is actually taller. I am also having issues where it is not locking from gear to gear. I reinstalled the stock shifter and had no such issues, so I think I am going to go back to stock for now and possibly get a different one.

So not a great day at the track the other day. I only had three runs. First run I spun hard in first gear but never let out. Could only muster an 11.18 @127 with a 1.83 60'. I let out again before I saw the light at the finish because I thought it was over, so I may have cost myself a mph or two, but not a 10 second run. Second run I hooked pretty decent, 1.71 60', but the car basically cut power at around 95mph. Finished with an 11.4 @114, so probably would've been a ten second run. It was extremely hot out so I am going to go back in two weeks when the Ambient air temp is not 95. Hopefully it will get down into the 70's one of these days down here. The only good thing I got out of the day was some beautiful pics by altjx

Oceanside is actually where our headquarters is located. All operations and manufacturing are done there!
