Awesome progress so far. I am liking the color matched brakes, good choice. Keep up the good work.
Thanks man I appreciate it.

One of my least favorite parts of this car besides the lack of nice floor mats were the basic black valve covers provided by Ford. No worries, I took care of that by taking them to a local guy who did the interior for my last car. I had them hydro dipped and then clear coated in Carbon Fiber and used the stock paint code for the Orange to paint match. Also got a few other goodies that are getting ready to go in. ID1050x injectors, Lund nGauge to tune, and Lethal Performance High Flow race pipes. I am waiting on my 1320 CAI to get here to put everything in and run the tune. For now I am just going to run a 91 tune and see how the car feels, with the possibility of switching to E85 (reason for the injectors) at a later date.

Nice! I bet they are going to look pretty good installed. I've thought about getting mine hydro dipped, just have to find a reputable person to do it.

Did the injector install, catch can, valve covers and exhaust.

Shame this huge catch can covers the awesome work that was done.

Thanks to @Jmeo for pointing out to me how the hose runs along the back of the blower and to watch out for a nasty sharp screw coming out of the firewall. Got the hose where it should be now.

Short video I made of stock compared to the lethal pipe. Exhaust is in track mode in both videos.

Recently installed a 1320 Junkie cold air intake, Lethal performance racing pipes (cat delete) and a Lund tune. Took her to the same dyno that I dynoed her on at stock. This time she made 781rwhp and 602rwtq. During the previous run she was spinning at 5-6k RPM. Even driving on the streets now doing 2nd gear pulls, I am getting a ton of slip at around 5-6K Rpm's when peak torque hits. Car feels much faster than stock and is running great. Since I have 91 octane and I have been using Boostane to try and get a little more out of it. I also don't trust this California piss gas. Anyway, here's a picture of the graph. The graph is a comparison against my stock pull. I will throw up some photos of the intake later.

Completely forgot about this build thread due to life, but the car is currently going through changes. Just installed the SPE Carbon Fiber intake, Euro tails, DD clear side markers and a Ford Performance Carbon Fiber decklid. Bought new wheels that will arrive in approximately four weeks as well, and today will be receiving a CFTP spoiler, which will hopefully get mounted next week once I get the holes in the trunk from the SWING covered up.

beautiful car man. i love and hate these posts. love because these cars are awesome. hate because i cant afford one yet. maybe one day. ha! thanks for the updates

im still amazed when i see something coming out of the factory and with a few very simple mods, making over 780 to the tire. i remember being impressed back in the day when 03/04 cobras were making like 400 rear wheel.

I remember that too cause I owned that car lol This car is beyond impressive and two years later I’m still impressed and smile every time I drive it. First Mustang I’ve owned that I’m not bored of after two years and I’ve owned a lot of Mustangs.

Recently added a CFTP rear spoiler and am switching out the stripes and wheels. Stripes will be replaced this week and the wheels should hopefully be here in about a week or two. Will post pics once I do a proper shoot of the car. Stay tuned.
