Is that a side or rear speaker? I have the "premium" system without sub and the rear magnet is not much larger than a quarter. LOL.

Do you mean that you are powering your PPI Speakers in the rear - or the front - with the factory amplification? That can't be right.

I'm powering 4 ppi speakers 2 in the doors and two in the rear off the factory amp, it sounds much better then stock but I'm not 100% satisfied, next on deck will be a 5ch amp to give me a better signal at each door, the factory amps mid/bass crossover IS no good for me

I had to run my ppi mid of the stock mid wiring and the same for the "woofer" which isn't allowing me to utilize ppis crossover

Just the rears made it a totally different system but I am picky

I had the shaker 500 in my 2009 stang. I replaced all the speakers with JL's and did an amped JL sub in the back. That sounded pretty damn nice.

The problem i see with this car is that the wattage on the head unit is 350...just feel like you aren't going to get that much power. You can clean up the sound of the speaker by replacing them with something better but you are limited to the wattage. I have the 12 speaker system...sounds good but I can turn it up three quarters of the way, if i added a bigger sub i think i would lose all the speaker sound.

I hate the stereo in this car and i have the 12 speaker system. Try driving on the expressway with windows down and max volume. Hardly enough. Sad.

RF Subwoofer 10", it doesn't take a lot of space in the trunk
Not a good spot for it. What if you want to lay the seats down? It will be in the way.

how are you guys changing the amp for the interior speakers, they are running off the head unit right? So you would have to pull that and lose all its features.
