From what we gathered they were gonna start scheduling convertibles 10/16. and resume the fastbacj scheduling in November.

Either way, most of all shall see our stangs right around the time Santa comes to town.
They had better throw in a premium window tint having to wait 6 months and getting jumped on the schedule...at my dealer

Fastback orders can still get assigned a VIN coming up on 10/16 correct? It is just that build week may not be scheduled until November correct?

If I have to wait until November just to get a VIN I'm going elsewhere.

GET schedules in November, or get SCHEDULED in November?

I read that as "November scheduling"... meaning they would receive build weeks in November.

Not that they would get a VIN in November with build weeks in December.
Yes this is what we need to know. It won't bother me to get a VIN on 10/16 with a build week scheduled on say week of 11/10 or 11/17. It WILL bother me if I don't have my order pulled and a VIN assigned UNTIL November with a build week of sometime in December. That I find intolerable.

I wish I could share your optimism. I will be absolutely STUNNED if mine gets delivered before December 25th. STUNNED!!! I should offer my dealer $1000 on to my xplan if they can get it delivered by Christmas Day.

This just keeps getting better and better lol. Now Ford is aiming to start scheduling fastbacks in November instead of October 16?
My available fall date will have come and gone if it comes at Christmas. Wonder if they will admit to being behind then?

They wont admit to anything.
In their mind, they hit their goal to get 2015 Mustangs out to dealers FALL of 2014. Thats all they care about.

In all reality, I don't think that convertible orders are going to be that much an impact except for fleet/rentals
