Does it say "Job 2" on your invoice/DORA in the left-hand column of options? Mine doesn't and I ordered 7/26.

You don`t need to quote from the Bible, The Koran or The Torah for that matter. Those of us that live in South Florida, Southern California and South Arizona want the damn Cars now. Fall and Winter in Convertible weather. Top is "up" and A/C in engaged all the time once late Spring and Summer is upon us. Fact Check.... Sept is the hottest and most humid/uncomfortable Month of the year from Orlando to Key West. Only after Mid-Oct and Columbus Day do we get a peek of relief. Fact #2, the Rental Car Companies in popular tourist destinations can`t get their hands on these Cars fast enough. They will be the first to receive early allocations.

I want my car as well. What I'm trying to say is that convertible sales are a small slice of total Mustang sales. On top of that this is a NEW model so it is taking extra time. You please the majority first then go on to the smaller niche groups within the total. All manufacturers do it. Yes it sucks. Its how the business works though. And the USA is more than the retirement belt as well. ;)

I want my car as well. What I'm trying to say is that convertible sales are a small slice of total Mustang sales. On top of that this is a NEW model so it is taking extra time. You please the majority first then go on to the smaller niche groups within the total. All manufacturers do it. Yes it sucks. Its how the business works though. And the USA is more than the retirement belt as well. ;)

In addition to this i am sure that they are spacing out the retooling since the convertible is essential a unique car more than the previous model (and even then convertible was a late delivery) if it concerns you then do as i do and wait until next year.

You won't see any movement on a retail order till sept or Nov . Trust me I ordered mine May 20th. Don't fuss or u get pilled on. Gooday!

In addition to this i am sure that they are spacing out the retooling since the convertible is essential a unique car more than the previous model (and even then convertible was a late delivery) if it concerns you then do as i do and wait until next year.

Not sure if that was a back handed (shot) that the USA is more the just the (Retirement belt) for Consumers. Many Retiree`s such as myself with FICA Scores over 820 qualify for Zero percent or 0.9% Financing and don`t need to have the Dealership`s Finance manager pulling strings to find a lending Institution to provide funding for a 40K purchase, just saying......Not sure about anyone else but my 2 Golden Retrievers love me as well as Ford Credit! Now, to get back "on-topic", Lets getting those 2015 Mustang Convertibles rolling....!

You can wait for the MY 2016 for (your) Mustang Convertible but I`ll simply pass on that opportunity and move on an opt for a Audi or BMW series Vert instead, if that be the case. If I can`t expect delivery by Jan or Feb 2015 at the latest, I`ll pass. As a matter of fact, I will have my Purchase & Sale Agreement state that my $500 deposit is fully refundable if the Vehicle is not available for delivery by late Feb. 2915 Case closed.

No offense intended. Just a lot of noise about the demographics and bias about older Folks and Retiree`s that just happen to be in the mix of potential 2015 Mustang buyers. True, its core Market, much like the Fiesta was geared for the younger High-Tech generation but I need to remind occasionally it is many older aging Dinosaurs that have the ability to purchase these "Toys" very easily rather them be required to take out a 7 tear Mortgage on a purchase that will ultimately (depreciate) like a rock falling from the Heavens as soon as the rubber hits the curb. I have plenty of Patience, I just would appreciate a bit more transparency when Ford will commence with Convertible production and allow legitimate Orders to be placed.

I just went through the new model wait on my C7 beginning late last year. The difference is that the way GM does it was simply "get in line" with a dealer that had actual allocation. There were no dealer stock orders prioritized over customer orders. So many people ordered at less than honest dealers that had no allocations for the entire year, but held onto deposits in the hopes that they might pick up an allocation. Most didn't and people were upset and the forums were on fire.

Convertibles were also late to the line on the C7, but the manufacturers know that they need to deliver before spring to all parts of the country or potentially lose the sale.

I know it's hard to wait, I did it already once in the last year and I'm doing it again. We just need a good support system of friends and forum members to keep us sane.

I actually think that was intended as a shot at the warmer parts of the country, not as a shot against retired people. Retired people are just the ones smart enough to live where ice is found more often in a drink than on the ground
