What is DORA?
DORA = Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgment.

This confirms that Ford has the order in their system.

That's my order and pricing. *2 - That's what I pay for it including tax ($37,200). *3 - dealer invoice / beside is invoice including tax ($39,719.40).
I did add the PP for $3,000 (CAD) on the 23.08.14 . So my EP comes to $40,000 including tax. (66W taken out because of the PP order)

My dealership put my order in with the rest of the dealer inventory. It shows that I am in production right now on the cotusb.ford.com site. They told me about a couple of weeks back I should expect delivery the first week of Sept.
I can't track mine for some reason, because my order number is like X001 but on the order confirmation sheet they gave me, it says stock order. Does that mean i get it ahead of the curve also?

At this point, it probably doesn't matter that much. It mattered at the beginning of the production line because the weren't producing any retail Mustangs until after they tweaked the plant to perfection and work out any bugs. They used dealer stock orders to do that. When they start scheduling again, they will be building both stock and hopefully retail (otherwise the retail buyers might storm FRAP and build their own cars!)

What you dont realize is that by doing so they would have had a boat load of 2014 units that NO ONE would want.
This gave them enough time to sell as many 2014s as possible and slowly move into 2015 units.

You can not compare this to 50 years ago. Back then you would have to wait to the actual YEAR for the Model Year . April 1964 they didnt release the 1965 Mustang did they ;)
If "Retail Orders" will begin to get "scheduled" for a Build in late Sept and Convertibles a month later in late Oct you would think that any day now, legitimate (Clean) Convertible Orders will be accepted with prices on DORA without the error message about (hold) For JOB 2 and missing parts report!

First cars....

I hope for you guys on JOB#1 that you get an ESP plan. On the other side, I do know that we who ordered the first Mustangs, will regularly visit our :ford: -dealers to fix some things they did not fit right. That's the trouble getting a new model in a production line. :paddle: And I hope that FORD makes a better paint job than Jeep on our white Grand Cherokee!

I knew people with first off the line 2005s that had ZERO problems. And people with 2006s with a bunch of problems.

I just hope date of order versus priority codes hold true for the guys who ordered in May and don't have that job 2 on their DORA

Speaking of my own personal experience, I was one of those that Pre-Ordered a 2011 Fiesta SE Hatchback back in Mar of 2010. It was ordered with the Option Power Moon Roof labeled (late availability) too. It arrived "on time",July 20, 2010 with the Dealers first Car Carrier load of new Fiesta`s. My was (not) a Stock Order but a Retail Order using my Ford X-Plan. From day one until the day I traded it in 36 months and 10 days later for a new 2013 Ford SE C-Max Hybrid, the Fiesta had zero defects and no problems and always delivered excellent Fuel Economy (exceeding) the original EPA Sticker estimates. So much for "First year jitters".

I have one of the very first 2012 Focus SEs made in the new body style (purchased 4/11) and have had 90,000 troubls free miles too. I think theyre getting the QC worked out on the new cars now.

An order I place on 8/13 listed Job 2, so somewhere between our order dates. I have since decided to pickup one of the inventory orders from my dealer that is currently "Awaiting Shipment" since nobody knows really (or isn't saying) when Job 2 for Fastbacks is.

Yeah, and it appears only Santa Claus knows when JOB2 will be for the Convertibles.
