Even on street tires in the cold, I turn off the TC and just roll into WOT out of the hole. It does spin a bit, but it is not something you can't control. Then, some spin on the 1-2 and the 2-3 is a chirp. I asked Torrie to tame my 1-2 shift a bit because it was spinning hard...hard enough to hit the upshift point and bang 3rd. Then, it would hook and downshift to 2nd. It was also leaving 30 yards of rubber from that shift, LOL.

It might only be 2.3 liters, but it has teh torques!

It really is an incredible engine. Especially with Torrie's tune.

I literally forget how powerful it is every time I start to drive until I punch the accelerator around 3k rpm. Pulls like a freight train up until about 6200 rpm.

Trust me, you will be a boost addict after the tune I did a datalog for him earlier to see if we need to tweak for the new IC, and car rolled the tires pretty hard on the 2-3 shift. Puts a grin on my face every time I drive it.

AWESOME!!

I loaded Torrie's tune last Tuesday and it totally transformed the way our car drives! Much faster right off the line, spinning tires in 2nd and chirping in 3rd - pulling like a freight train.
The SCT tuner updated over my wifi and everything else was pretty easy. Torrie emailed me two custom tunes, both tailored to my octane (92) and mods (CAI). One tune was for under 60 degrees F, and one for over 60 degrees F. I highly recommend this tune.

seems like this tune shifts hard, my auto wont break traction on the 1-2 shift let alone the 2-3.
