I have done a few PDIs at the dealer I work at (not Ford) and the mileages have been around 7-12 miles, this has been before the test drive part though.

At the time I ordered the car which was Dec 15 they said it was Trustford policy to calculate the price of a full tank of fuel from current prices, this was then added to my invoice as £60. On collection day the tank was empty so I reminded them that I had paid for £60 of fuel and they took it to the petrol station and filled it up, I therefore got no free fuel at all with my car or maybe a few litres at best. Ordered from and invoiced by Trustford in Weston super Mare but picked up from the authorised dealer which was Trustford at Ashton Gate in Bristol. I didn't see this as particularly mean because I've bought a number of new BMWs costing much more than the Ford and they give nothing away either nowadays. My wife bought a new Cooper S in July and did get about half a tank full. Buying BMWs 20 years ago I've had bottles of champagne, flowers for my wife and other freebies but they all seem to pare it to the bone now to maximise profit but in the process they minimise customer service and satisfaction.
