agree with the above... where are the photos from the bejing show. all the us shows have 100 pics every which way.. and this one has an unseen interior...
I contacted that photographer to see if he had more photos of the red interior and just got this response:

"I went through my files of that day and I didn’t take any pictures of the interior. I did have a look inside and can tell you that it has red seat covers, red door panel inserts, red backseat and black carpet with a grey “aluminum” dash panel. Carpet was black and console was grey I think. The back and bases of the seats were also black, as was the steering wheel. Hope this answers your question and it’s great to know when have so many mustang enthusiasts reading our stuff!"

Thanks for looking into it!

Great post, Twin Turbo. I instantly thought the same thing the first time I saw the non-black interiors. I think the two-tone door panels on the 50th make the car look much more like a competitor with luxury cars another 10-20K higher when you consider heated/cooled seat options etc.

I specifically would avoid a non black interior just because it doesn't jive with me, it looks unfinished and a bit silly, like the designers severely lacked taste. Hell they lost money, I would pay another $500 for two tone door panels.

The Anniversary model's seats and trim definitely raise the level of the interior. Does anyone know what the 50th SEAT/DR TR item is in the order bank? I am thinking it is the two tone design.

Also, does the PREM TRIM CAG item refer the machined appearance console?
Thanks for any info.

-Getting a ruby red 2.3 Ecoboost premium, nav, 50th anniversary package as soon as possible.

Trust me, I like the look of the interior, but on this car, I'm currently driving, the white/cream colored part is a magnet for staining. I was having to clean it at least once a week. This is the 1st time, I've ever covered a seat, BTW, I only cover the drivers seat because I drive it every day.

I've owned many cars with White, Tan, Brown & Black interiors, this one is terrible to keep clean...Hopefully the Mustang will resist staining.
Is yours cloth? I had a 2011 with the cream colored interior, but it was leather and I had zero problems keeping it clean.

I agree the previous generation interior, especially the 05-10, now looks clunky and too hard-edged in comparison to the 2015, but I also pray they offer a nice light-colored (or even an all-white special) two-tone interior with a matching top color, similar to what used to be offered. Here is a pic of my '07 interior, which I am still in love with 8 years later...and it looks just as good today.

The 2015 body style is growing on me, but I refuse to buy one if they only offer a black trimmed interior with black carpets. Not talking about the seats, but the rest of it. I am very much NOT a fan of the whole blacked-out look that has become such a trend these days, especially the wheels.

Can anyone comment on the quality of the leather that we can expect in the 15's? My '05 was leather but honestly, I've sat on better plastics. Did Ford make things better up to and including the '14's? Curious to know what I can expect in November. Thanks.

I agree, the "leather" on the 05-10's is pretty horrible, did not even smell like leather when it was new (and I think the rears are vinyl). I test drove a '14 just the other weekend and they have a special interior package with upgraded leather that is MUCH nicer, very soft and rich feeling/smelling, including on the rear seats. I would not be surprised if this made it into the '15.

P.S. I found this cool photo online, which I love because the interior looks bright, but the interior in this photo looks rendered, not sure what's up with that.

I'm going to do my leather aftermarket (via the dealership) so I can pick the exact tone and finish...

Do we have any official confirmation on whether the 50th anniversary package will include the 2-tone seats? The corral pony + feaux gas cap are nice and all, but I really want that cashmere interior.
