Turning off the track control

can anybody tell me how to totally turn off the track control.

hold down your TC button for ~5 seconds and it will display "AdvanceTrac OFF" on your center screen

Why would you want to do this? Does the car go any faster with it off? Probably ok on the V6 but I would not suggest doing this on the GT for sure.
